23 juni, Utrecht: bijeenkomst uit solidariteit met de opstand in Soedan

Op 23 juni organiseert The Barricade in samenwerking met Soedanese vluchtelingen in Utrecht een Soedan Dag uit solidariteit met de opstand in dat land. The Barricade is een collectief dat elke zondag in politiek-cultureel centrum ACU de eigen anarchistische bibliotheek openstelt en bijeenkomsten organiseert met presentaties, muziek en maaltijden.

Uit de oproeptekst: “December 17th 2018, the Sudanese people stood up to their country’s oppressive dictatorship. Since that day, the revolution is striving for freedom, peace, justice and a civilian government, while fighting against military oppression. In solidarity with Sudan, we are organising Sudan Day. Different speakers will talk about the current situation and will show different videos shot by the protesters in Sudan to hear about their experiences during the uprising.”
