9 december, Amsterdam: discussiebijeenkomst “The dream of the Sudanese revolution”
Op 9 december organiseert de Amnesty International Studentgroup Amsterdam (AISA) een discussiebijeenkomst over de Soedanese revolutie. Een van van de sprekers is Doorbraak-activist Abdulrazik Khamis.
Uit de oproeptekst: “From spring onwards, a reoccurring pattern could be found on Instagram accounts: a blue profile pic, to express solidarity with the Sudanese revolution. But why blue? What does the colour, and the revolution itself, stand for? How did it come about, and how did it end? Has it ended at all?
These are some of the questions we will be addressing in our event on Sudan and the revolution. After gaining insight into the history and development of the Sudanese revolution, the ambitions of the protestors, and the current power-sharing agreement, our various guest speakers will discuss the situation both among each other and with the audience in an open discussion.”
